Newborn
Newborn sessions can take place in the comfort of your own home to create a relaxed and comfortable environment for you and your family. Studio sessions are also available. My studio is warm , bright and with a minimalist set up. This allows to focus on your family’s bonds . The studio sessions usually take place in the morning when the light is soft and bounces off the white walls beautifully.

Danai was able to see the beauty in myself as a mother, I had forgotten about. After two children and life, I didn’t see my beauty like I once did.. her photos of my family reminded me of just how beautiful I was. Not only myself, but my family. Our marriage and our children, she was able to capture the beauty of us.

We had such a great time getting our family photos taken by Danai. First, were were a little nervous about going places with a newborn. Our little one had just turned 4 weeks. Danai provided guidance on outfits to coordinate and she worked with us at our convenience. We were definitely nervous that the baby would cry and fuss during the session but she calmed him down and took some incredible baby photos. We absolutely love that she also guided us on how to pose, because it is always awkward getting pictures taken but she made it so fun. Her studio was also very clean, organized and designed for family photos. Overall, we enjoyed our time with her and will definitely return for other family photos. Thank you Danai!

How can I book you as my family photographer?
Yes! I absolutely love traveling so pass me my camera and im there! Just let me know in the contact form and we can go over the details. Travel further than 50 miles outside of the Lake Norman, NC area has a travel fee.
Are you available for travel?
Best time to photograph your growing belly is between 26-34 weeks.
When is the best time for maternity photos?
I got you mama, we will laugh, move around, share whispers and jokes during our time together and your little one will have a great time! Don't worry once he warms up we will get the everyone smiling at the camera look too!
I'm not sure my son will sit still during the session.
About 2 Weeks After Your Session, You’ll Receive An Online Gallery Of Your Hand-Edited Images. You Will Then Select Your Digital Images And Gorgeous Prints And Products That You Can Beautifully Display In Your Home And Enjoy For Years To Come.
How many pictures will be delivered?
Once you're officially booked, i'll provide you with a style guide and help you coordinate outfits for you and your family. I will also connect you with a hair & makeup artist if you choose to get a little pampering before your session!
